SHOES AND DRESS CODE
Our dress code is designed to encourage unity and discipline among our students.
Do not send your child to to dance in a t-shirt and shorts. Write your dancer’s name on all personal items of clothing, costumes, shoes, dance bags, etc. The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
All smart watches and similar devices must be turned off or programmed to a do not disturb mode. Dancers will be asked to remove any item that distracts them or other dancers.
DRESS FOR BALLET
Females: Leotard, tights, skirt/dance shorts, camisole/sports bra
Males: Solid color shirt and dance pants or shorts
Females: Pink ballet shoes
Males: Black ballet shoe
DRESS FOR LYRICAL
Females: Leotard, tights, skirt/dance shorts, camisole/sports bra
Males: Solid color shirt and dance pants or shorts
Tan laceless jazz shoes
DRESS FOR CONTEMPORARY
Females: Leotard, tights, skirt/dance shorts, camisole/sports bra
Males: Solid color shirt and dance pants or shorts
Canvas half sole shoes
DRESS FOR TAP & JAZZ
Females: Leotard, tights, skirt/dance shorts, camisole/sports bra
Males: Solid color shirt and dance pants or shorts
Jazz: Tan laceless jazz shoes
Tap: Tan lace up oxford (ages 6+)
Tap: Tan ribbon tie tap shoe (preschool combination class)
DRESS FOR MUSICAL THEATER
Females: Leotard, tights, skirt/dance shorts, camisole/sports bra
Males: Solid color shirt and dance pants or shorts
Tan laceless jazz shoes (junior and teen dancers)
Tan character heels (senior dancers)
DRESS FOR HIP HOP
Females: Leotard, tights, skirt/dance shorts, camisole/sports bra
Males: Solid color shirt and dance pants or shorts
Hip hop boots, jazz sneakers or tan jazz shoes (NO tennis shoes or street shoes)
Hair should be styled in a bun, braid or ponytail away from the face and neck.
